David Ritz Receives IPC Hall of Fame Award
David M. Ritz, chairman and CEO of Ritz Camera Centers, recently received the annual Hall of Fame Award for 2007 from the International Photographic Council, a nongovernmental organization of the United Nations. Fred Lerner Elected President of PMAI
Fred H. Lerner, president and CEO of Ritz Interactive, based in Irvine, Calif., has been elected president of Photo Marketing Association International. Prior to holding the position of president-elect from 2004 to 2005, Lerner served as the association's vice president and treasurer.
Randy Harris Named Grand-Prize Winner of Ritz Camera National Photo Contest
Randy Harris, a photographer based in Bellevue, Wash., recently was named the grand-prize winner of the Ritz Camera National Photo Contest for his close-up photograph of an Alaskan grizzly bear shaking water from its head. Harris' work also has appeared in magazines, on television and in advertising campaigns.
David Ritz Named to PMA International Hall of Fame
David M. Ritz, chairman and CEO of Ritz Camera Centers, based in Beltsville, Md., has been named to the Photo Marketing Association International Hall of Fame, following in the footsteps of his father, Edward C. Ritz, who earned the association’s highest honor in 1984. Ritz was recognized for achieving personal success and helping advance the photo imaging industry.
